OUR LEGACY

The History of SEVEXSCA

A movement of hope, service, and transformation born from the vision of compassionate leadership.

Origins and Inspiration

SEVEXSCA (Support and Empowerment of Vulnerable Persons through Ex-Seminarians and Volunteers in Cameroon and Africa) was founded in 2021 by Fain Kum Emmanuel, a counselling psychologist, researcher, and community visionary leader.

The organization emerged from a deep reflection on the realities of marginalisation, poverty, and the silent struggles faced by individuals such as orphans, widows, prisoners, and underprivileged youth. Rooted in a spirit of service and inspired by the formation and values of Ex-Seminarians, SEVEXSCA was envisioned as a platform where compassion meets action.

Legal Recognition and Growth

SEVEXSCA formally gained legal recognition in 2022 under the laws governing associations in Cameroon. Since its inception, it has grown into a dynamic and multidisciplinary organization, currently comprising 15 active team members drawn from diverse professional backgrounds.

Holistic Response

This diversity strengthens our capacity to respond holistically to the complex and interconnected needs of vulnerable populations.

Our Ongoing Impact

In times of crisis, SEVEXSCA stands as a reliable source of humanitarian aid and disaster relief. We place particular emphasis on the promotion of girl-child education, recognising it as a powerful tool for breaking cycles of poverty.

Through skills development and talent promotion, we nurture the potential of underprivileged individuals, enabling them to achieve economic independence and personal growth.
